The Residential Roofing Salesman is an integral part of our dynamic sales team. They will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, creating sales strategies, and providing excellent customer service. The job duties will include working to sell roofing products and services with the primary focus on selling asphalt, metal, and other roofing products directly to residential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in roofing products and services to consult with customers on their roofing needs, recommend suitable solutions, and close deals effectively.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all residential customer account management matters.
- Identify, target, and develop relationships with potential customers in need of roofing products and services.
- Proactively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and following up on leads provided by the company.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer needs and propose appropriate roofing solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on the features and benefits of our roofing products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and professional development.
- Work closely with our roofing installation team and project managers to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
Skills:
- Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in the technology industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with clients
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus, as it will allow for effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients
- Self-motivated and driven to meet or exceed sales targets
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage sales activities
