How You’ll Make an Impact- Direct and oversee the operations of the kitchen, inventory and purchasing of food and supplies, cost control and sanitation.
- Work directly with Restaurant Manager to prepare for dining reservations and parties
- Create and execute all special event menus for events by working closely with the Restaurant Manager
- Develop new menu items on a semi-annual basis alongside the Restaurant Manager
- Provide the highest quality food and service in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
- General management of the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and coaching
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors, trends, and industry standards
- As applicable, attend, lead and/or participate in all staff meetings, as well as participate in daily line-ups, weekly service training meetings and special training sessions when requested
What You’ll Bring
· Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience as a head chef, or 5 years of culinary experience as kitchen staff
· Deep understanding of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations
· Results driven and team oriented attitude
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Ability to work 40 hours per week with schedule to be determined based on reservations and events
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
