Up to $20.00 rate

Responsibilities

  • facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents
  • Observing residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs
  • Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed
  • Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc.

To join this team, please have the following requirements :

  • Prior recreation / activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred.
  • An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
  • Must have LTC experince
  • Dementia experince preferred
