Schedule: 2,2,3 schedule. 10 hours.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dietary supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, possess knowledge of kitchen operations, and uphold the highest standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will also be able to run the kitchen on an individual basis. Their routine would be make breakfast, serve the meal, clean up after the meal, cook lunch, serve the meal, clean up, and prep an easy dinner and have it ready for evening dietary aide. This position does not have aides during the day. It's just however and supervisor; however, caregiving staff available to help serve drinks and food. Cook needs to be independent, motivated, and a multi tasker.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
- Ensure meals are served on time and at appropriate temperatures
- Monitor food supplies and ingredients, order as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Prep meals for weekends, evenings, other occasions
- Serve meals and clean up after meals
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Dietary Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with catering or restaurant kitchen operations
- Understanding of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs
- Certification in food safety is a plus
