Chiropractic Assistant responsibilities include escorting patients to treatment areas, taking patient histories, reviewing paperwork to ensure accuracy and completion, cleaning exam and treatment tables and equipment, and explaining any required procedures to prepare the patient before the chiropractor's exam as well as assisting the doctors document patient charts.
We are looking to hire a professional, reliable, and motivated individual who either wants to know about chiropractic health or already does. Must be an energetic team player who is able to think and move quickly. We are looking for a candidate who has a great and friendly personality, compassion, professionalism, and work ethic. We will train the right person with all the necessary attributes. This role requires someone who is a great multitasker and loves people! Other roles within this position are handling patient care plan schedules, overseeing patient schedules through our automated patient scheduling software, answering phones, taking X-rays, and more. This team member must be energetic, and personable, love being around people, and move efficiently in helping check in patients, answer phones, assist patients with questions, and be a great communicator with other team members.
This job is NOT: simply sitting in front of a computer as people check in, but DOES INCLUDE: managing the front desk operations, interacting/ greeting every patient, communicating with other team members on patient case information, and handling several jobs at one time. We are looking for someone who has a personal mission to love and serve others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chiropractor with patient care and treatment
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Perform patient x-rays
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Handle phone calls and inquiries from patients, providing excellent customer service
- Handle all social media platforms including updates on the Google My Business page
- Correctly schedule New Patient Exams, Consultations, and next appointments
- Document and post charges for services provided in EHR software by entering accurate service codes
- Ensure the care plan is being followed to maintain compliance and optimize the patient's results
- Solicitation for social sharing, public reviews, and recorded testimonials (Our patients LOVE us - help them tell others what's so wonderful about their experience with us!)
- Digital filing and preparation of documents
- Light office maintenance will be required to keep the area tidy & safe
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Attend Chiropractic Assistant/X-ray seminars
- You must be able to communicate effectively, maintain a high level of professionalism, and have the ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Be a Chiropractic Advocate
Please note that previous experience as a Chiropractic Assistant is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong interest in healthcare and a willingness to learn.
