Salary
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and skill set. Job Description
The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive video strategy that aligns with our student ministry's goals and objectives. This will involve:
- Creative ideation, pre-production, and video shoots, including researching video examples, creating mood boards, shotlists, assembling equipment, coordinating talent and crew, directing, operating cameras, lighting scenes, capturing audio, and setting up/striking sets
- Video editing/post-production, leading deadlines, identifying key ways video resources can enhance Student services
- Developing a structure for students to explore their gifts in ministry, especially as it relates to video/photography, and creating opportunities for them to use their skills
- Shepherding and care of volunteers and developing the creative team volunteer culture in partnership with Student Pastors
- Researching and adapting creative ideas to better our Student Ministry programs/ministry
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Expertise in telling stories through video/film
- Demonstrated creativity, process management, problem-solving, and priority-setting skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Familiarity with photography, camera equipment, studio lighting, sound recording, and mixing
- Experience creating videos for multiple social platforms and formats (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Personal qualities like humility, teachability, collaboration, innovation, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, hard work, and effective communication
Education and Experience
A degree in Television/Film/Video or equivalent industry experience is preferred. You'll also need prior experience working with students, high-functioning teams, and digital realms (Planning Center Online, websites, etc.). Motion graphics, animation, and other multimedia skills are desirable.
