As a Multimedia Storyteller, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our vision and mission by creating engaging, impactful media that inspires and equips students.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive video strategy that aligns with our student ministry's goals and objectives
- Creating engaging, impactful media that showcases student life, testimonies, and ministries
- Collaborating with Student Pastors and other team members to develop and implement a comprehensive video strategy
- Shepherding and caring for volunteers and developing the creative team volunteer culture
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production and social media marketing
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Exceptional storytelling skills and ability to connect with students
- Strong technical skills in video production, editing, and post-production
- Experience working with students, high-functioning teams, and digital realms
- Personal qualities like humility, teachability, collaboration, innovation, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, hard work, and effective communication
Education and Experience
A degree in Television/Film/Video or equivalent industry experience is preferred. You'll also need prior experience working with students, high-functioning teams, and digital realms (Planning Center Online, websites, etc.). Motion graphics, animation, and other multimedia skills are desirable.
