Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities : Comfortable with wounds and wound care programming related to Ultra Mist.
- Develop and implement the Physical Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
- Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Physical Therapy Assistants in delivery of the PT plans of care.
- Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Physical Therapy.
- Communicate progress and any barriers toward PT goals with interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete timely PT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
- Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
- Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each PT patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
Schedule : Full-time up to 40 hours a week
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
