We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, supporting cooks and kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen during service times.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen appliances and storage areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices is essential.
- Experience working in catering or banquet settings is advantageous.
