Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations of our facility. This position is responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, or repairs while adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours.
Skills
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in working with logic controllers and understanding their applications in industrial settings.
- Solid knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including troubleshooting techniques for various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge to assess equipment functionality and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Experience in project management to oversee maintenance projects from conception through execution.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.34 - $29.26 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
