We are looking for a kind and experienced LVT who provides exceptional patient care and customer service in a calm, welcoming environment. Vida Vet is Middletown, Delaware's newest veterinary hospital offering urgent care services. Our hours are Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm and Sat/Sun 10am-6pm. We are closed all major holidays. Rotating weekend shifts are a requirement for this position
We are seeking someone who is able to multi-task, exhibits attention to detail, enjoys a fast paced environment and works well with a team.
Job Skills recommended:
- Understands usage & dosage of all prescription medications and can readily explain to client
- Can collect & submit laboratory samples
- Perform general anesthesia and monitoring. Utilizing doppler, oscillometric, and ECG monitoring
- Place IV catheters
- Knowledgeable of radiographic positioning
- Patient treatments and monitoring
