We serve 20-25 clients at our Assisted Living, located in North Spokane, who face challenges such as: high medical needs, Traumatic Brain injuries, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Basic Job Description and Requirements:
- ADL’s, lifting up to 40 lbs, proficiency in caregiving tasks
- Med techs with Nurse Delegation and med pass experience
- Behavior Management and redirection
- Engagement and interaction with our residents, helping to make their lives great!
- Assistance with eating/feeding residents who have need
- Documentation, Organization, paper flow
- Positivity, eager to learn, willingness to grow, and desire to have fun while providing exceptional care
- HCA, CNA, or NAR w/2011 exemption letter OR; willingness to complete classes (we provide all courses and training to new caregivers with a starting wage of $18/hr)
- CPR, 1st aide, Specialty trainings
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, work in a fast paced environment, problem solve, and work well within a team
- Must perform proficiently and competently with our clients and maintain a professional working relationships with associates
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Excellent communication and team work
- Be able to pass criminal background check
AM Shift: 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday
- One of two caregivers on shift (kitchen staff and activity aid additionally present)
- $18-$20 per hour depending on certifications
- May be scheduled as Med-tech, depending on certifications and training
PM Shift: 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday
- One of two caregivers on shift (kitchen staff and activity aid additionally present)
- $18-$20 per hour depending on certifications
- PM shifts receive a $1 deferential
- May be scheduled as Med-tech, depending on certifications and training
NOC Shift: 10pm-8am, Sunday-Saturday
- Only caregiver on shift
- $20 per hour (MUST have all certifications/licenses)
- NOC shifts receive a $2 deferential
- Is scheduled until 8am to help AM caregivers with showering and get-up tasks
Weekend Doubles: 6am-10pm, Saturdays & Sundays
- One of two caregivers on shift (kitchen staff and activity aid additionally present)
- $18-$20 per hour depending on certifications
- May be scheduled as Med-tech, depending on certifications and training
- Works two 16 hour shifts (32 hours) but is paid for a full 40 hours if shifts are fulfilled
- Any extra shift worked during the week is automatic over-time
Supervisory Positions:
- $21 dollars an hour
- Requires full-certification
- Available after 90 days introductory period and completion of facility provided LEAD class (contingent on staffing availability)
