Cloud Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for Cloud Software Engineers to help us create novel life-changing digital health solutions for our users. Our software engineers are comfortable dealing with specifications and working in small teams. We need engineers who are excited to try new approaches and collectively learn the right approach to delivering the best experiences. Must be self-driven and self-motivated to achieve results within time frames available.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

Work with a talented group of engineers to improve our cloud solutions.

Protect information security assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

Write clean and well-tested code that allows us to keep our applications stable and easily modifiable.

Maintain quality service by following organization standards and complying with regulations.

Contribute to a knowledge-sharing and an open and collaborative work environment.

Be organized and knowledgeable on project details and industry trends.

Deliver results with strong emphasis on quality and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related degree major
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity, System Administration, and Network Security a plus
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, and Android Bluetooth framework a plus
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Node, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and cloud services such as AWS a plus
• Knowledge of iOS, including Swift, XCode, CocoaPods, iOS frameworks including Core
• Bluetooth a plus
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, and SOLID principles is a plus
• Understanding of source code management tools, such as Git and Perforce a plus
• Experience with Agile methodology, engineering medical software and regulatory compliance is a plus Experience with IoT and Linux is a plus
• Strong foundation in mathematics a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong process orientation and documentation abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with exciting work and a fun team

Physical requirements / Work Environment :

This position is full time on site, located in Irvine, CA.

This position primarily works in an office. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. This position requires sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer display or other digital devices. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May require standing for extended periods when facilitating meetings, walking in the facilities. Some travel may be required so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
