We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing service professionals with experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a fast-pace environment, for our full-time Banquet Server positions. The applicant must be an exceptional team player with a passion for service excellence, be proactive, detail oriented, and have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completes all set up, opening and closing side work as assigned in a timely manner and to standard.
- Comes to work on time and in uniform
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Give excellent and friendly customer service
- Serve food and drinks, whether through buffets, stations, or passed hors d'oeuvres. If over 21, occasional bar shifts may be assigned with training.
- Keep event area clean, including bussing tables and restocking.
- Must have basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations or be willing and eager to learn.
The candidate for this year-round position should be able to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays as banquet functions are scheduled. While we are eager to work with your schedule and have a.m. and p.m. shifts Tuesday through Sunday as business dictates, it is strongly preferred that applicants have weekend and holiday availability.

About Us
Willow Oaks Country Club is a member owned club founded in 1957 and currently has approximately 1000 member families. The facilities include an 18-hole golf course with practice facilities; eight lighted outdoor and four indoor tennis courts; fitness facilities, youth department and a 25-meter swimming pool. Dining facilities include a formal dining room and lounge; member grill and bar; large banquet rooms; several private rooms in the historic main house and a pool snack bar. The club is open 364 days a year and is located in the heart of Richmond on the banks of the historic James River.
