Groundskeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces and ensuring that landscapes are both beautiful and functional. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks, utilizing power and hand tools, and contributing to the overall upkeep of our grounds.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
• Use power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers efficiently and safely.
• Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth.
• Plant, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other garden elements.
• Maintain grounds by removing debris, leaves, and litter to keep the area clean.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or pesticides as needed.
• Operate hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and gardening practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics in outdoor spaces.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
