Job Summary:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Willow Tree Care Center, you will play a vital role in helping patients reach their highest potential through therapeutic evaluations and treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Your responsibilities will include designing and administering treatment programs, maintaining patient records, and providing support to clients in adapting daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and administer treatment programs to increase patients' levels of functioning
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports
- Instruct patients in adapted techniques and the use of adaptive equipment for meal preparation, home management, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills
- Participate in home assessments and provide therapy for neurological integration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
