About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta, CO. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs for patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient functional needs and outcomes
- Design and implement plans of care based on thorough assessments
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
- At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
