- Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR), carry out treatment plans and assist in evaluating patient progress.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Implement therapy plans, direct support staff to achieve patient goals, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment goals, and plans.
Requirements
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide.
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Able to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations.
