We are currently looking for caring and compassionate Personal Care Workers/Direct Care Workers and Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to provide care in Centre County in client's homes. We offer paid orientation/training (online and in-person training), free continuing education, over-night and weekend differential, flexible scheduling (ex: 4, 6, 8-hour shifts), mileage reimbursement, Friendly & responsive office staff/supervisors who are available 24/7, direct deposit, Worker's Compensation and Liability insurance, and Competitive pay rates. We will provide all PPE supplies as needed, work bag with work supplies & logo tops/shirts upon hiring.
*No Experience required to apply for a non-medical caregiver position, only the compassion and the desire to make a difference in caring for others. Our nurse-owned agency will provide training on hire and throughout as well as 24/7 support so that optimal high-quality care is given to our clients and caregivers can feel comfortable at all times. Our agency is a dual agency which provides Skilled medical home health care and non-medical Home Care. (Non-medical caregivers are Personal Care Workers and non-certified Home Health Aides.) *
*Home Care caregivers provide clients with non-medical care in their homes such as meal prep, medical reminders, assistance with bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, companionship and respite care.
*Home Health Skilled caregivers provide clients with Skilled care but can also work on the non-medical home care as well. These are visits that are made when a patient is getting short-term intermittent skilled care which can be nursing and/or therapy. Aide must be a CNA or have the required 75 hours HHA training to work with our skilled patients. (According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), home health aides working at a CMS must have 75 hours of training, including 16 hours of on-the-job training)
Candidates must be certified in CPR or obtain certification prior to seeing clients (if not certified we will facilitate finding a class for you)
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license

· Have physical stamina
Skills that are required for the position: (Include but are not limited to):
o Ensure clients receive their medication on time
o Support clients who can’t move on their own
o Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
o Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
o Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
o Transport clients to appointments as needed
o Help customers with their shopping
o Do necessary light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
o Inform supervisors about uncommon events
o Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
