The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction process for the company's development projects. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants to define project scope, establish design, and obtain necessary permits
- Conduct site surveys with consultants as needed and provide detailed survey reports
- Prepare bid packages, manage the bidding process, and select qualified contractors
- Perform due diligence and coordinate insurance requirements and utility service setup
- Manage the submission and tracking of plans through government agencies for approval
- Oversee the full construction process to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site issues
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or challenges, and implement corrective actions
- Organize and oversee final inspections, secure all necessary approvals, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage project handover, ensure completion of all closeout documentation, and confirm client satisfaction
Qualifications / Skills:
- 3 years of experience in project management, specifically within construction development
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
- Prior experience in restaurant construction development is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting construction documents, including blueprints
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities; able to perform under pressure, adapt to challenges, and consistently meet deadlines
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
