Overview
Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Fitness Specialist to be responsible for leading, instructing and motivating individuals/groups in exercise activities including cardiovascular exercise, strength training and stretching work with individuals of all age groups and varying levels of fitness.

Wage:
- $20/hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assists Team Leaders in development, promotion, and implementation of health and fitness exercise classes, health and wellness related educational workshops, and promotional events for Residents and Team Members.
- Instructs exercise/aquatics classes and educational workshops.
- Stays current with latest trends in fitness industry.
- Conducts fitness and health-related screenings.
- Develops individualized exercise plans.
- Assists in the care of the pools and fitness centers.
- Maintains fitness, aquatics and satellite centers so they are neat, clean and safe at all times.
- Completes bi-monthly maintenance checks of the satellite fitness centers in each community.
- Serves as a lifeguard if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Lifeguard and CPR certifications.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Group Fitness Instructor experience is required.
Hours:
- 40 hrs/week
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
