Dates: June 2nd - August 8th ( School closed on June 19th)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
Friday 7:30 am - 11:30 am
Houly Rate:
HS Student with less than one (1) year of experience - $15.00
HS Student with morethan one (1) year of experience $15.25
HS curriculum related work students, (Lights & Sound, Technology, etc) $15.75
HS Grads and Adult Bookstore workers- $16.75
Reports To: Bookstore Manager/ Assistant Principal
Purpose Statement
Performs generalized functions related to the acquisition, receipt, circulation, and use of textbooks.
Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision using standardized routines; providing information; utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's team.
Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
Essential Functions
- Receives incoming textbooks and related materials; checks against student accounts and maintains accurate records.
- Maintains a variety of records, logs, and statistics related to inventory and supplies.
- Maintains textbooks and equipment; mends, re-labels, and repairs books, pamphlets, textbooks and other instructional materials.
- Processes annual textbook inventory and retrieval and distribution of textbooks.
- Bills for lost textbooks; collects money and prepares appropriate receipts and financial records.
- Provides support and assistance to other bookstore staff, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Salary : $15 - $17
