We are seeking a full-time an Advanced Practice Provider to work at Tanner Urgent Care clinics.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- In collaboration with a physician(s), the NP/PA performs triage, physical exams, collects and documents data, orders laboratory studies, diagnostic procedures, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care of patients, and provides direct patient care services.
- Analyze clinical practice patterns to provide the best medical care and to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Education & Licensure
- Nurse Practitioners: Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a master’s degree in nursing.
- Physician Assistants: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Must be board certified.
- GA licensure required.
- 1 years of APP experience strongly preferred.
- Week 1: Monday & Tuesday, 8a - 8p (or until last patient seen); Sat/Sun 8a - 5p (or until last patient)
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8a – 8p (or until last patient seen)
- Locations include Tanner Urgent Care/Carrollton, Tanner Urgent Care/Villa Rica, and Tanner Urgent Care/Bremen
- Scheduled at one clinic site daily
