Responsibilities
- Greet patients and their families upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage the admissions process by collecting necessary patient information and documentation.
- Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate records in electronic health information management systems, including PCC.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology and health regulations during the admissions process.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding their admissions and provide necessary guidance.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to facilitate smooth transitions for incoming patients.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Skills
- Proficiency in phone systems and strong verbal communication skills.
