Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department in our assisted living facility. This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive optimal dietary services tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Supervise dietary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food service.
- Manage daily operations of the dietary department, including meal preparation and service.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate dietary needs and preferences.
- Oversee tube feeding procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for diagnostic evaluations related to nutrition.
- Maintain accurate records of dietary services and resident care plans.
- Train staff on best practices in food safety, sanitation, and nutrition.
Experience
Candidates should have a background in nutrition or dietetics, with experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and dietary management principles is essential. Leadership experience is highly valued, as well as the ability to effectively supervise a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
