What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proshop/Outside Service Staff position at Willows Run Golf Complex?
About:
We are Willows Run Golf Club in Redmond WA. One of the busiest public golf courses in WA. We have two 18 hole golf courses, one Par 3 course, 18 hole puttputt course, covered driving range, to-go shack and full dining restaurant. Many coporate/private tournaments, birthdays, memorial events throughout the summer. We have 150 golf carts to clean daily and fully covered driving range.
Skills & Qualifications:
Outside service staff:
- 18 years and older. Must have a valid Driver’s license and means to commute on your own.
- Majority of shift will be spent outdoors washing golf carts, pulling golf carts out and in, ball picking at the driving range, throwing away trashes, and general cleaning.
- Knowledge of golf and customer service experience are not required, but are a plus.
- This position requires one to be on their feet for most of the shift.
- Position starts at $17 an hour
Proshop Staff:
- Experience as server or fast paced retail is recommended but not a must.
- Basic use of computers and tablets is a must.
- Check golfers in for their tee time.
- Majority of shift will be spent indoors checking golfers in at the front desk. During busy season the work is very fast paced.
- Proper training is provided to aid the employee in creating a smooth and friendly environment for our customers.
- The Pro Shop staff are the face of the golf course so proper customer service and problem solving skills are a must.
- Proper multi-tasking is a must in order to assure a quick and easy process for the customer.
- Must be over 18 years of age and have a valid US driver's license.
- Position starts at $18 per hour
