Job Description:
As a part-time BCBA, you will work closely with families in their homes and communities to provide ABA therapy that is centered around play-based techniques. This role involves assessing, designing, and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, training staff, and supporting families in their journey. You’ll play a critical role in fostering a positive and growth-oriented environment for children and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with autism and other developmental disorders.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Train, supervise, and mentor behavior technicians and other staff members.
- Collaborate with families to ensure therapy strategies are integrated effectively into daily routines.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to parents to enhance their ability to apply strategies at home.
- Foster a positive, growth-focused environment for children, staff, and families.
Requirements:
- BCBA certification required.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and a commitment to using evidence-based practices.
- Experience with play-based therapy techniques preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel locally to clients' homes and communities.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
