What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP Floater 22.50 per Hour Evenings position at Willows Way?
FULL TIME DSP FLOATER
$22.50 per hour, Paid weekly, 36 hours guaranteed, 5-day work week (One weekend day required). Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-11pm
Floaters work in varying locations. Days worked will remain consistent, but you must have the flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 Years FT experience supporting individuals with I/DD is required.
- Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs
- Flexibility and Reliability
- Kind, patient, compassionate and respectful
- Excellent communication skills. Floaters are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.
- Floaters must be able to work in all homes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Driver's License, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all background checks and classes required.
CORE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Complete all required documentation to include medication record,
daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
- Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination,
security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with
others in their community.
- Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene,
household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.
