The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality initiatives communicated by management and customer requirements. This position is responsible for quality related training and auditing along with creating, evaluating and improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness for multiple locations. Product returns processing and analysis are primary responsibilities for this position requiring extensive product knowledge.
Essential Responsibilities :
Supports the mission, values and vision of WillowWood
Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.
Supports all WillowWood employees in our effort toward ISO Compliance, including, but not limited to :
Developing and performing internal audits
Monitoring and maintaining the Corrective Action process
Processing / analyzing RMA's (returned product)
Returns data analysis
Updating of product / manufacturing drawings.
Assist employees with procedure writing and maintaining ISO compliance
Provide technical leadership and expertise within the company regarding quality policies and procedures
Process product returns. Manage restocking / refurbishing / disposal procedures for returned products.
Perform finished goods audits and report results
Monitor, maintain and manage calibration process
Maintain and analyze quality performance data supporting QA Metrics tracking and performance improvement. Generate reporting for all stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and development of best practice
Supervise data acquisition / checklist systems for process improvement activities
Essential Skills Required :
This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to look beyond the obvious and aid the QA Manager in developing a quality culture within the organization.
Highly motivated self-starter
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable in industry quality standards, ISO 9001 : 2008
Internal auditing experience, preferred
Experienced in root cause analysis and the use of automated CAPA, preferred
Proficient in data analysis
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Quality Management System software, preferred.
Ability to prioritize complex diversified responsibilities and multi task
Experience with SolidWorks- 3D CAD Design package, preferred
Detail oriented with ability to set goals, meet objectives, take initiative and complete tasks within deadlines
