We handle workers' compensation and general liability matters for insurance carriers, employers' businesses, and government entities. We are currently expanding and looking for a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense Attorney in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Consulting with clients
- Attending hearings
- Taking Depositions
- Preparing and responding to motions
- Preparing and responding to discovery
- Adhering to the Firm's Code of Ethics, company policies, and operating principles
Ideal Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in the Workers' Compensation field.
- NC License in good standing.
- Detail-oriented, diligent, and results-driven team player.
- Experience in drafting briefs and other legal documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent client services skills.
- Experience taking depositions.
- Experience in discovery.
