Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gymnastics Trainer with experience coaching adults in advanced bodyweight strength, mobility, and skill-based training. The ideal candidate is passionate about movement and adept at teaching handstands, front levers, mobility, soft acrobatics, and lower body conditioning. This role is perfect for a coach who thrives on refining technique, individualizing progressions, and helping clients develop exceptional body control.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement progressive training programs focused on bodyweight strength, balance, and mobility.
- Coach handstands, front levers, soft acrobatics (e.g., rolls, vaults, low-impact aerial work), and mobility drillswith a structured approach.
- Guide clients through lower body conditioning to enhance strength, flexibility, and durability.
- Assess movement quality and provide detailed corrective strategies to improve alignment and efficiency.
- Foster a supportive and challenging training environment for clients at all skill levels.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure continuity and progression across training programs.
Qualifications
- Background in gymnastics, calisthenics, acrobatics, or movement-based training (parkour, circus arts, or capoeira a plus).
- Experience coaching adults in skill development and mobility training.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics and progressions for skill acquisition.
- Ability to demonstrate and break down complex movements into teachable steps.
- Passion for continuous learning and refining coaching techniques.
- Comfortable working with clients of various fitness levels and adapting programs accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in movement-based disciplines (e.g., FRC, GMB, StrongFirst Bodyweight, Gymnastics Strength Training).
- Experience working with rehabilitation or injury prevention in an athletic setting.
- Background in physical therapy, personal training, or strength coaching is a bonus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
