Willwork, Global events Services, has an immediate opening for an experienced estimator for our expanding General contracting and I & D divisions. Applicants with Events background are preferred but not necessary.
Job Description
The role of this position is to estimate, plan, qualify, and schedule trade show projects, with oversight from inception to completion. This includes acquiring resources, materials, and the coordinating of third-party contractors, consultants, architects and engineers, in conjunction with the project manager.
Required Skills / Experience
- Ability to manage all aspects of the bid process including solicitations, quantity take-offs, pricing and bid day procedures, based on drawings / architectural plans and client requirements
- Experience at working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Collaborate with design and production to become intimately familiar with proposed projects
- Events scheduling
- Sub-Contractor contract management
- Ability to identify and process R.F.I.’s through the estimating process and clearly communicate them with clients and all other parties involved
- Change order processing and validation
- Thorough knowledge of the permitting process
- Material procurement
- Proficiency in Excel / Word / Outlook
- Manage estimates from pre-bid to contract documents
- Develop and maintain subcontractor network
- Initiate, coordinate and manage the RFP process
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with proficient time management required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to review and analyze project management requirements and determine project specific needs
