Role Description
At WILLY CHAVARRIA, we are seeking Merchandising/Studio Management interns for the Spring 2025 Semester. During the duration of your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of studio operations, including the preparation for our upcoming runway collection.
Studio Management Tasks will include (but not limited to):
- Inventory Management: Organizing and tracking samples, fabrics, and finished products, ensuring everything is properly labeled and stored.
- Administrative Tasks: Performing general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and managing schedules.
- Assisting with Photoshoots: Helping set up equipment, styling outfits, and coordinating with models and photographers.
- Social Media Support: Helping manage the studio's social media accounts by creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
- Maintaining Studio Space: Keeping the studio organized and tidy, including cleaning up daily and ensuring all materials are in order.
- E-Commerce Operations: Assist with order fulfillment and customer service
- Other miscellaneous tasks related to studio operations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in fashion merchandising, marketing, business, or a related field
- Highly motivated and ready to work with self-charged professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- A genuine interest in the fashion industry (current fashion trends and market dynamic) and a desire to learn and grow within it.
- Retail Experience is a plus
Please note: this internship is an unpaid position; however, we are pleased to offer academic credit for your involvement and are flexible to meet the requirements of your school’s internship program. Priority will be given to candidates completing the internship for credit.
