Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accuracy of the company’s account records and reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor. The Accounting Clerk should have excellent excel and problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter that can adjust to change and support a growing company. Specifically, this position is responsible for carrying out the following duties timely, efficiently and accurately

Accounting Clerks Responsibilities

• Process Invoices for Willy’s Mexicana Grill and Howlin’Willy’s.

• Vendor Relations. Review statements weekly

• Match checks and invoices

• Filing of accounts payable

• Upload files to bankng site

• Weekly recording of electronic paymets (ACH)

• Export inventory and transfer data from back office system (Rosnet) to accounting system (Sag Intacct)

• Log in and review weekly store packages

o Record deposits

o Audit promotions/discounts and voids

oPrepare weekly report on findings

oReview and correct Paid Outs

• File credit card receipts and

respond to charge back inquiries

• Manage Breezecard Program

• Reconcile AP Control Bank Account

• Prepare corporate bank deposits

• Take deposits to the bank

• Enter Catering deposits into Intacct Accounting System

• Assist with Catering AR Collections

• Assist with period end close

• Distribute Trial Balance reports to store and ADs Weekly.

• Assist with year-end Financial Audit

• Manage Constructon Binders

Requirements

• At least 1 year of exerience with both AP and AR.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Advanced Excel Skils

• Strong Communication skills

• Self-starter.

• Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Willy's Mexicana Grill’s standards
