SUMMARY
The PBX Operator is responsible for:
- Answer phones a pleasant and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all prompt responses are completed.
- Performs as concierge in most cases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The PBX’s primary responsibilities will include:
- Answers inbound phone calls and directs to appropriate area.
- Serves as an information agent for the guests.
- Cheerfully attempts to resolve any guest issues through the use of a prompt response log.
- Performs as a reservation agent or front desk clerk as needed.
- Maintains organization of work area.
- Maintains organization of faxes, mail and log books.
- Handles all Owner/Exchange Guest Inventory Checklists ensuring that each is completed in a timely manner and submitted for completion.
- Uses proper key control as outlined by the standard operating procedures.
- Completes daily call around.
- Completes daily welcome calls to all new arrivals.
- Witnesses shift deposits as necessary.
