Occupational Therapist School Position (Full-Time) - Wilmington, DE

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a much respected school district in Wilmington, DE who is currently seeking Occupational Therapists to assist them on a contractual basis for the 24/25 school year and beyond. Details of the position include: Occupational Therapist -Conduct special education assessments for students referred for TEAM evaluations and reevaluations. Work with staff, parents, and students collaboratively to ensure effective plans and interventions are designed and implemented to support student success -Support the school-wide implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).Write assessment reports as part of the special education eligibility process -Provide direct and consultative services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) -Participate in IEP eligibility team meetings, including reporting out on evaluations -Review Independent Education Evaluations and outside evaluations to summarize and present at IEP Team meetings Location: Wilmington, DE Start: ASAP Duration: 24/25 school year Facility Type: School Schedule: Mon- Fri 7:45-3:15 (slight changes depending on what school population you are working with) Pay Rate: $50-52 per hour based on experience Experience: -Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy -Valid DE Licensure - School will accept pending DE licensure with active out of state licensure Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
