Description
Improve the health and appearance of their client's skin. You must have a vast knowledge of skin types, conditions and skin care ingredients, which you will use to perform in office services and provide personalized at-home care recommendations for our patients.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Facials : skin care treatments such as : wash, exfoliation, mask, extractions, massage and other procedures .
- Skincare analysis : determine skin types and skin care concerns.
- Help manage skin conditions such as :
- Aging (wrinkles, age spots, loss of skin volume).
- Hyperpigmentation (Melasma, sun damage) using IPL and Opus treatments.
- Acne (whiteheads, blackheads, cystic acne, acne scarring).
- Eczema (dry cracked skin, itchiness, small irritated bumps).
- Psoriasis (thickened skin, scaly patches).
- Rosacea (facial redness, rash, thickened skin).
- Experience with brow and lash treatments is a plus. The ability to complete lash lifts, brow lamination and brow and lash tinting / tattooing / microblading.
- Be a resource for our patients and help them to create an at-home regimen that promotes and maintains skin health between appointments.
- Post op care : to include suture removal.
Administrative
The area you work in daily is primarily well lit, you will have to work in darkened rooms throughout the day. You will be moving around a lot. Be able to sit when necessary. The use of fine motor movements is essential. The environment can often be loud and have strong odors.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Must have a current Esthetician License recognized in North Carolina
Minimum one year of experience in the field
Must be proficient in Microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels and energy-based treatments (device specific training will be provided)
