Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Schedule surgeries at WH ASC for all assigned providers.
- Coordinate and communicate surgery date to patient, surgeon and clinical team.
- Coordinate any necessary appointments required for patients related to surgery.
- Complete all required documentation in the EHR.
- Communicate pertinent information to surgeon, clinical team and OR.
- Communicate with managed care team to verify surgery authorization by insurance and document pertinent information in the EHR.
- Verify that the procedure can be performed at the ASC.
- Verify eligibility and calculates co-payments
- Assist with other ASC Business Office duties

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
Preferred:
- Experience with surgery scheduling
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience with surgery scheduling
