The IT Asset and Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible for the daily incoming requests from all WSFS teams and lines of business. The Analyst will be responsible for placing approved orders directly with the preferred vendors, tracking shipments, confirming deliveries, and staging equipment for deployment. In addition, the incumbent will act as a liaison with IT vendors, resolve order issues and expedite and prioritize orders based on urgency.
Job Responsibilities :
- Work with all Teams to fulfill requests and assist in incident resolution through the procuring and staging of hardware and software licenses as requested.
- Responsible for following the established asset life cycle processes and policies and maintaining up-to-date records and inventory on all IT assets via the CMDB system.
- Review and maintain adequate inventory onsite for departmental needs and submit orders and purchases for stock replenishment.
- Responsible for identifying, controlling, maintaining, and verifying asset data in the IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Track shipments; acquire materials; validate order completeness; validate material functionality (repair and return if needed); update asset management system records.
- Adhere to documented process guidelines and all Asset Management policies and procedures to enhance quality and productivity.
- Ensure all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.
- Required to find solutions that are sustainable and fit for purpose when standard options are not capable.
- Maintain the accuracy of IT hardware and software asset records and identify issues.
- Manage the full life cycle of all assets from acquisition through retirement / disposal.
- Other duties as assigned.
