What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher - Exceptional Children position at Wilmington School of the Arts?
Our EC Teacher must be able to:
- Work with school Administrative Team, which includes our EC Director, and make plans with school staff to best serve the individual needs of our student body and EC population.
- Be well-versed in ECATS and understand matters of legal compliance as it pertains to EC
- Be student-centered and advocate for the best interest of students within their caseload
- Have a thoughtful, and caring demeanor when dealing with students and parents. Our school uses positive discipline as our model for student and family interactions, and we expect all staff to be a part of upholding this culture.
- We are especially looking for someone IBS certified or otherwise qualified to support students behaviorally.
E.C. Licensed in N.C. Required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
