What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milieu Counselor Substance Abuse position at Wilmington Treatment Center?
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health/related Field OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with pending Master’s Degree in behavioral health. Required. Master’s Degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- At least two years clinical experience specifically with chemically dependent / dually diagnosed population preferred.
- CPR / CPI (Offered at facility). Certification or willingness to pursue certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor preferred.
- Licensed Professional Counselor preferred.
- Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
- Ability to work with male/female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed/opiate dependent population. Must be able to work with culturally diverse populations.
- Full Time Wednesday-Sunday
