Wilmot Union High School District is now taking applications for a Science teaching position.
The applicant must possess the following qualifications:
The applicant must possess the following qualifications:
- State of Wisconsin Science Teaching license REQUIRED - Chemistry license preferred
- Knowledge of effective teaching practices using inquiry with the Common Core Standards.
- Knowledge of Standards Based Grading preferred.
- Relentless focus on continuous improvement through a collaborative process with colleagues and students
- Knowledge of the key components of a Professional Learning Community including the development of common assessments based on essential standards
- Ability to design and implement lessons that foster high levels of learning for all students
- Ability to design and implement lessons that utilize assessment for and of learning
- Ability to use formative and summative assessment data to drive instruction
- Values a growth mindset
- Willingness to participate in continuous progress
