We seek a Litigation Paralegal with trial experience to support a senior Level litigation Attorney. Experienced in managing cases in multiple California counties, drafting discovery, motions, briefs, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, citation checking, and tabling documents
- Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel
- Prepare documents for filing in state and federal courts
- Manage and calendar court deadlines
- Draft, propound, and respond to discovery, draft motions, settlement, and related documents Trial preparation, including notebooks, indexing, witness lists, etc.. drafting motions, and ex
- Maintain organized case files, indexing, etc.,
Qualifications
- 3 years of Plaintiff, Wage & Hour/PAGA/Class Actions experience
- Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in a paperless work environment
- Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules
- Familiarity with California discovery rules
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Type at least 40 wpm.
