Customer Service Representative I - Broad Street Office
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs the duties of paying and receiving teller
- Balancing cash drawer
- Maintain knowledge of new and existing products and services
- Guard against loss by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds. Identify fraudulent activity
- Read, understand and follow all relevant policies and procedures
- Perform and support daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the Office
- Supports referral goals for Office by focusing, identifying, and referring basic bank products to the appropriate business partner
- Provides an extraordinary customer experience
- Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
- Will work Saturdays on a rotating basis
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teammates
- Basic organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and systems
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Basic understanding of deposit products
- Participation in community events and in school banking program are required, as are public speaking, working extended hours as needed
