Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the timely completion of projects and support tickets.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot server operating systems and software.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime or disruptions.
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups, updates, and security patches.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deploy and maintain virtual machines, containers, and other cloud resources to support organizational needs.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability, monitoring usage and performance metrics.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Work closely with development teams to facilitate the deployment and operation of cloud-native applications.
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions to meet the organization's needs. This includes managing virtual desktop pools, images, and user profiles.
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network traffic and performance, identifying and resolving issues to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
- Configure and maintain VPNs and other remote access solutions to facilitate secure connectivity for remote users and branches.
- Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect against security breaches and data loss.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security technologies, and make recommendations for enhancements to the security posture of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (10 Years) in a senior or lead systems administration role, with a strong background in managing enterprise IT infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of server and network technologies, including Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
