You will work closely with the Team of Field Schedulers, field teams, and clients to develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of inspections. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, deadlines, and resource allocation, using project management software.
- Work closely with the Team of Schedulers, Railroad personnel, Licensees, Contractors, Inspectors and third-party flaggers to schedule utility inspections, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements.
- Collaborate with Team members in managing the schedule of inspectors to ensure inspections are conducted efficiently and on schedule.
- Monitor the progress of utility inspections, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain open and effective communication with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to provide regular updates on inspection schedules and any deviations from the plan.
- Identify potential risks or obstacles that may impact inspection schedules and work with project teams to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection schedules, reports, and related documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Ensure that inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of inspection scheduling procedures.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, including keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex scheduling information in a clear and understandable manner is crucial.
- Proven ability to identify issues, assess root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain project schedules and mitigate risks.
- Ability to track and evaluate project progress to determine and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to develop solid professional relationships with scheduling Team, clients and field team.
- Familiarity with utility inspection processes, relevant industry standards, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Project management software is a plus.
- Experience in project management, scheduling, and coordination, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proven experience using project management software tools, including creating and maintaining schedules, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with construction or utility inspection processes, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations, is highly advantageous.
- Experience in maintaining quality assurance standards and ensuring that inspections align with project requirements.
- Previous exposure to client interactions and the ability to provide regular updates on project schedules and deviations.
- A track record of effectively identifying scheduling issues and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- A history of seeking opportunities for process improvement and optimizing scheduling procedures.
