Wilson & Company is seeking a mid- to senior-level (6 to 15 years of experience) Land Development Engineer to augment a civil practice in our Phoenix, AZ office. This professional will be responsible for studies and designs related to site development and other general civil engineering projects. This position will perform both lead and supporting roles on related projects and business development efforts.

Essential Job Functions:
Serve as lead designer/engineer on tasks or projects. Expected to grow and lead the Land Development team of engineers in the Phoenix office, bringing and building client relationships.
Work collaboratively with and mentor junior staff in a positive and professional manner.
Effectively fosters relationships with team members and clients, as well as industry stakeholders and regulators.
High degree of interpersonal and effective communication (written and verbal) skills.
Required Skills:
Perform due diligence for site selection and site planning activities which will include, but is not limited to, preliminary local zoning and environmental evaluation.
Assist in the development of site design analysis, site layout plans including grading, drainage, utility services and roadway infrastructure connections in accordance with the appropriate design standards.
Complete hydraulic calculations and analysis and prepare reports in formats acceptable to the jurisdictional authorities.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of all types of civil design drawings, documents, and reports, verifying accuracy of data, information and calculations.
Completion of engineering calculations and create design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Preparation of site drainage reports, design concept reports, and drainage master planning.
Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.
Required Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in an ABET-accredited college or university.
A minimum of 6 years of experience working in civil design with an emphasis in site civil design.
Arizona Professional Engineer (PE).
Experience with ArcGIS a plus.
Experience in the preparation of work plans, budgets, and project schedules is highly desired.
Experience with Autodesk design platforms, preferably Civil3D.

Salary Range: $95,000.000 - $145,000.00 depending on experience
