What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects?
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a full-time Project Accountant for our Operations to support our Company.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented a self-starter, recognize and able to meet critical deadlines, possess excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal communication skills, able to multi-task and perform with minimal supervision. This person should be proficient in project accounting, project budgeting with a strong understanding of fee types, project billings, project performance analysis and work well as part of multiple teams.
The position will assist with the project administration and project accounting by supporting the Project Accounting Managers in multiple sectors. Regular job duties to include but not limited to, project set up, reviewing weekly employee timesheets for appropriate coding, running draft invoices and final invoices, posting and tracking all final billings, reviewing third party invoices, unit pricing, vehicle logs & employee reimbursable to ensure proper coding & authorization and project close outs. This position requires being able to implement and maintain the workflow and assignments adequate for achieving the Company’s goals and objectives.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of general accounting practices.
- Working experience in Deltek, experience with Vision or Vantagepoint a plus.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years in project administration, preferably in an engineering or technically related field.
Annual Salary Range or Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $42.00 (Depending on Experience)
