Qualified applicant must have minimum of high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education and/or training is preferred.
Maintenance positions require general maintenance knowledge. No technical certifications or licenses are required, but either would be beneficial. Applicant will need to be able to lift 50 lbs and work out in the elements without regard. General framing, woodworking, plumbing, electrical, and/or equipment operation experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will perform general maintenance duties at various schools/locations throughout the district.
These are 12-month, 260-day positions with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay will be determined by documented comparable work experience and placement on Grade 6 of the Hourly Support Personnel salary schedule. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $15.14 per hour.
