SUMMER LEARNING CAMP DISTRICT INSTRUCTIONAL COACH
This position is only open to current Wilson County Schools Employees.
JOB GOAL
Oversee the Summer Learning Camps during the summer of 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants with Administrative licensure (ILL-A, ILL-B, ILL-P).

FLSA STATUS Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE 8 hour work day
Training Dates:
- Monday, May 5, 2025 - 4:00 - 6:00 pm in-person training @ATC
- Thursday, May 8, 2025 - 4:00-6:00 pm in-person training @ ATC
- Date TBD - Meet Site Principals and Parent Contacts
- Tuesday, May 27, 2025- Work Day
- Wednesday, May 28, 2025 – Training and Workday
- Thursday, May 29, 2025 – Workday / Open House
- Friday, May 30, 2025- Work Day
Summer Sessions:
- Monday, June 2, 2025 – Thursday, June 26, 2025- Student Attendance Days
- Friday, June 06, 2025- Student Attendance Day (ALL)
- Thursday, June 19, 2025- Holiday, No School
- Friday, June 27, 2025 - 3rd Grade Make-Up Attendance Day/Work Day/Closing
- Instructional Coach will be expected to commit to the entire summer program
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prior to Summer Camps:
- Create teaching schedules for teachers
- Set-up the site in coordination with the building principal
- Communicate with teachers assigned to the respective Summer Camp location
- Communicate with students attending respective Summer Camp location
- Other duties as assigned
During the Summer Camps:
- Creation and implementation of teaching strategies and programs to all site locations
- Provision of support and feedback to Learning Camp instructors and others
- Implement and oversee student disciplinary procedures pursuant to the Wilson County Schools Code of Conduct
- Ensure all health protocols are implemented to maintain student and staff safety
- Implement attendance protocols and documentation maintenance
- Monitor student arrival and dismissal and supervise area during lunch and snack
- Ensure staffing coverage is in place for staff absences during the Learning Camp session
- Communicate with stakeholders as necessary and required, prior to and during summer learning sessions (including parents, teachers, students, Transportation, ATC staff, Food Service, etc.)
- Participate in orientation sessions scheduled prior to the Learning Camp as required below
- Maintain accurate records as required for the Summer Learning Camp session
- Administer pre- and post-tests and report results to District pursuant to established procedures
- Communicate with District-leadership on progress of Learning Camp classroom, including compilation of student data following Learning Camp and an exit interview on your experience following the term of the 2025 Learning Camp
- Compliance with all applicable Board policies and procedures and applicable State and federal statutes and regulations
- Must have completed medical designee training and be willing to administer medications as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job may require lifting or carrying of objects that exceed fifty (50) pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
